The Empty Bobbin is dedicated to excellent customer service, which means getting you your order as quickly as possible. All orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days and an email notification will be sent as soon as it has shipped. During any sale event, please expect it to take 4-6 business days due to the volume of orders.

All standard orders are shipped via expedited parcel by Canada Post or UPS. Estimated delivery is between 3-5 business days for most addresses. Remote locations may experience longer wait times. If your order is small and eligible, it may be shipped by letter mail. Please note when placing your order if you would like this option. A refund for the difference will be issued if your order qualifies. Keep in mind there is no tracking information available for orders shipped via letter mail.

Orders greater than $250.00 after discounts and before taxes ship for FREE!

We offer a flat rate shipping of $12.99 for orders less than $250.00 after discounts and before taxes.

Select items are oversized and will be charged an additional shipping fee due to the substantial cost it requires to ship the item.

Please contact us for a shipping quote, including estimated duties and tariffs if you reside outside of Canada.

IN-STORE PICK UP: We offer free in-store pick up for our local customers or those who may be passing through town. Simply choose In-Store Pick Up at checkout. We will send an email once your order is ready. If a friend or family member is picking up your order please indicate this in the note section at checkout.

LOST PARCELS: Please note we are not responsible for lost or stolen parcels. Please ensure your shipping address is correct during checkout. We will gladly provide any tracking information and assist you in locating your order. However, we cannot reimburse you for the cost for any lost parcels.

Yes, changes can be made to an order as long as the fabric has not been cut. And if your order has not shipped we can also add to it. Please send us an email at theemptybobbin@hotmail.com sharing what you would like to add and the quantity. Also, feel free to call us at 204-614-0262 to make any additions. You can also choose to create a second order and leave a note at checkout to combine it with the previous order. We will gladly refund any additional shipping charges paid.

An order can be cancelled as long as the fabric has not been cut and the items have not been packaged. Please email or call the shop to make this request.

We strive to offer quality products and want you to love the fabrics and sewing notions you receive from The Empty Bobbin. Under certain circumstances a return request may be granted.

Unfortunately, because fabric is cut as orders come in, we are not able to accept returns on cut yardage. If you are not satisfied with any notions or supplies, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. You may then return it to us within 14 days of purchase to receive a refund. The refund will be processed once we receive the item(s) in unused and original condition. However, you will not receive a refund for the shipping charges and you are responsible for the full cost of return shipping. Refunds may take up to 7 business days to appear on your statement.

If you receive an incorrect item or there is a mistake in your order, please email us at theemptybobbin@hotmail.com or call the shop at 204-614-0262 and we will make things right.

We do our best to ensure the fabric online comes across as true to color as possible. However, due to the vast color variances in every monitor and mobile device, we cannot guarantee the color will be an exact match to what you see online. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.theemptybobbin.ca (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The Empty Bobbin's website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
