Our Location

The Empty Bobbin is proudly located in the beautiful Swan River Valley, a hidden gem in west-central Manitoba. Our community is known for its warm hospitality, rich natural beauty, and vibrant local culture that makes every visit memorable. Our town is nestled between the stunning Duck Mountain Provincial Park and the Porcupine Mountains which are perfect for hiking, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. Just a few miles south of town off of Highway 83 you will find the Thunderhill Ski Area which offers skiing in the winter months and hiking and biking trails in the warmer seasons. The Swan Valley Museum is located right in town and showcases our region's history and pioneer spirit. We have many great businesses and my favorites are Soleil Coffee and Gift Shop and Sunshine Flower n Gifts.
