Learn to Quilt Workshop

Are you ready to start your quilting journey? This 5 class workshop is just for you! This workshop is designed for beginner sewists as you will learn the basics of operating a sewing machine, fabric selection, accurate cutting with a rotary cutter, and piecing a quilt top. Together we will make a 68" X 68" lap sized Nine Patch Variety Quilt top. 

Supplies required: sewing machine in good working order, scissor snips, pins, thread, seam ripper, 80/12 universal or microtex needles, and 15 1/2m cuts of fabric or 24 fat quarters.

We provide rulers, rotary cutters, cutting mats, and irons for use during the workshop.

Workshop sessions are 6 pm to 9 pm on Thursday November 12, 19, 26, and December 3 and 10. 

Machines are available to rent during the workshop sessions for an additional fee. Please contact the shop to reserve a machine if needed as there is a limited supply.
